Date: c. 1930-1950
Manufacturer: Unknown - possibly American pressed glass maker such as Fenton, Imperial, or Westmoreland Origin: Decorative household glassware, likely American or British manufacture
Find Location: Colchester
Extra information:
Fragment from a larger decorative pressed glass object, possibly a bowl, vase, compote, or vanity ware item. The flowing relief pattern resembles drapery, shell, or stylized floral folds typical of Art Deco to mid-century decorative glass design. The fragment has been drilled, fitted with a modern metal bail, and coated in resin for stabilization and use as jewelry. UV testing suggests it is standard white milk glass rather than uranium glass.
